Websites & Marketing Google and local SEO
Show up when someone nearby searches for what you do
Your Google Business Profile kept current, listings that agree, a plan for reviews and a website Google can read. No ranking promises, just the work that helps.
How it works
When someone types "tacos near me" or "barber in Lakewood," Google shows a map with three businesses and then a list of websites. Local SEO is the work that gets you into that map and onto that first page. It is not magic, and most of it is not even technical. It is a set of chores that almost nobody does.
The biggest lever is your Google Business Profile: the listing with your hours, photos, reviews and the Call and Directions buttons. A complete, verified profile with recent photos and answered reviews beats an empty one every time. After that come your other listings (Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp), which need to show the same name, phone number and hours as Google, and your website, which needs pages that say clearly what you do and where.
Reviews are the part owners dread, so I set up a simple routine: a card at the register, a prompt on the receipt, a text after the visit, and help writing replies. Google's rules are strict here. No paying for reviews and no screening out unhappy customers, and I will keep you inside those rules.
One honest note: nobody can guarantee a spot on page one, and anyone who promises one is selling something. What I can promise is the work, done right, and a plain-English report each month on what people searched to find you.
What is included
- Google Business Profile created or claimed, verified and filled in completely
- Categories, services, hours, holiday hours and photos kept current
- Bing Places, Apple Maps and Yelp matched to Google, so your details agree everywhere
- A review routine for your counter, receipts and texts, plus help with replies
- Website pages written so Google understands what you do and where you are
- Search Console set up, with a monthly look at what people searched to find you
- Growth plan: new pages, Google profile posts and fresh content every month
What the first month looks like
Week 1: the listing
Claim or create your Google Business Profile, start verification, and fill in every field: category, services, hours, photos, and a description written for customers.
Week 2: everything else agrees
Match Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp and your social profiles to Google. Wrong phone numbers and old hours on one listing cost you trust on all of them.
Week 3: the website
Fix the titles, descriptions and page copy so each page answers one search. Add the behind-the-scenes details that help Google connect the site to your listing.
Week 4: reviews start
Your review card and text template go live, and the first replies go out. From here it is a monthly rhythm, not a project.
Save on your website when you process with Sean.
Card processing customers get the monthly website plan at a discount. Just need a website? The plan works on its own too. Every plan is quoted in person, in writing, before you agree to anything.
Best for
Businesses that depend on people nearby finding them: restaurants, salons, auto shops, contractors, and medical or professional offices.
